2024 Septic Tank Pumping Bid
The Narrowsburg Sewer District will be accepting sealed bids for the pumping of septic tanks, dosing tanks, contact tanks and pump stations for the 2024 calendar year.
Regular pumping is to be done within 24 hours of call and shall start at 8:30am Monday through Friday. Emergency response shall be within 5 hours of call Monday through Sunday. Bidder must be a NYSDEC licensed hauler, insured for two million dollars liability and have a minimum capacity of 3000 gallons per call. Prevailing Wage is required to be paid for time spent on site. Applicable job classification is Operating Engineer- Building/Heavy and Highway- Class B- Vacuum Truck. Certified Payroll Form will be required as verification.
Interested bidders should submit a combined price per gallon for pumping, labor and disposal for pumping, which will include 3 emergency calls in the base bid and provide for a surcharge for emergency calls thereafter.
Sealed bids are to be sent to the Tusten Town Clerk, 210 Bridge Street, Narrowsburg NY 12764 before noon on February 6, 2024. Bids shall be clearly marked “2024 Septic Tank Pumping Bid”. Bids will be opened at the regular monthly meeting on February 13, 2024 starting at 6:30 pm. Bids will only be accepted on an official bid form. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. A non-collusion certificate must be enclosed with the bid and must be obtained along with an official Prevailing Wage schedule from the Tusten Town Clerk or District Superintendent.

Purchases by the Town of Tusten for its use are not subject to any sales, use, or federal excise taxes and exemption certifications will be executed upon request and payment.
